About the Club
Our House & Reception Convenor this year is Liz Brown. She can be contacted on 07977 570 332. If you wish to come along to the Club, please telephone her to let her know. You will receive a warm welcome from President Shelagh and all our members.
This year (2021) we celebrated our 60th & 61st Charter (as we couldn’t celebrate last year) we had a very enjoyable lunch and lots of fun and friendship.
We raise monies throughout the year for International Projects and also for the President’s chosen Charity. This year the Charity is SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health). We would not be able to do this without the support of family, friends and the general public who support us very generously at these events - for this we are very grateful.

About the area
Corstorphine is a suburb to the west of Edinburgh.
Its claim to fame is the Royal Zoological Society, best known as “Edinburgh Zoo”, whose popularity has been heightened with the arrival of the 2 Giant Pandas Tian Tian (Sweetie) and Yang Guang (Sunshine).
The shopping in Corstorphine has greatly reduced with the arrival some years ago now, of The Gyle Shopping Centre on the western outskirts. However, there are plenty of coffee Shops. Nearby there is a golf course, 2 Leisure centres, several Churches of various dominations and not too far away if the BT Murrayfield Stadium, the home of Scottish Rugby.
Edinburgh Airport is seven miles away with good transport links. As a result, there are two large hotels and a number of guest houses in that vicinity.
The Inner Wheel Club of Corstorphine meets in the Murrayfield Hotel across the road from the home of Scottish Rugby.
A warm welcome awaits you there.
